What makes everything worthwhile when photographing subjects for whatever reason, are the stories that develop. I never plan for them to occur as the ideas are normally a blank canvas in the first place. These moments I like to put together into little narrative boards.
These too I like to use when I continue my movement studies. Movement is something we do a lot of but rarely focus on when were going about our day to day lives. Even when we’re still, we move. We place our mindfulness towards the many distractions that surround us everywhere we ‘move’ to. With dance and pose, my subjects become aware. They’re entirely awake to their outward motions to create emotional narratives.
